The Magic of Cranberry As Skincare

Cranberries may be small, but they’re mighty! A color-popping addition to the beautifully-set table at family gatherings, a burst of red hues in your decorations, a superfood/juice high in nutrients, antioxidants and a natural medicine. But that’s not all…

Cranberries also contain ingredients with anti-inflammatory and anti-viral properties that help tackle acne, other skin irritations and blemishes, and soften and brighten aging skin. And the Vitamin C within this tiny red bulb? Pow❣️It’s a magic wand of nutrients that fade scars and marks, and boost collagen production. We’ll go further into those benefits below.

Where Do Cranberries Come From?

Laura Rege, a writer for Martha Stewart, writes, “Most people think cranberries grow in water. Steve Lee [of Brothers Cranberry Farm] explained the berries actually grow on long running vines in sandy marshes or bogs and are flooded as part of the harvesting process. And though the harvest is short, cranberry farmers are tending their vines year round. Most cranberries grown in the U.S. come from Wisconsin, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Washington.” The farm Laura visited has a long history with cranberries. “Steve explains, "Our family has been working this land for seven generations. It is pretty special, it comes from the heart.’”’

It’s understandable that anyone who works with such multi-dimensional magical orbs would have such passion!
