Where does this fit in my routine?

Use this as your final step in your evening routine, after completing steps 1 and 2 in the clear skin routine, you can then apply the clear skin elixir. Note: moisturizing before applying the Elixir is optional. We recommend using the Overnight Perfectionist serum.

Do I have to use it all over my face every night?

Yes, apply it as a full-face overnight mask when first starting our Clear Skin routine to help heal breakouts, balance oil, and stabilize any excess production. As you sleep it is working to draw out toxins and impurities while depositing nutrients to help heal breakouts and balance oil. Once your skin clears, you can take it down to a few nights a week, or solely as a spot treatment.

Will it dry out my skin?

No. The Elixir is unlike anything you may have tried and will not dry you out, make you red, or cause your skin to peel. It contains moisturizing extracts and oils that will not clog your pores but help you achieve a beautiful, clear glowing complexion. However, if your skin is on the drier side, feel free to moisturize first. An ideal combo with the Elixir is our Overnight Perfectionist Serum. The Elixir locks in the nutrients from the serum and the two work as a synergistic combo to boost skin health and healing.

Do I wash it off in the morning?

Yes, it is removed in the morning. If you have the Hydration Dew and Cleansing Nectar, first spritz face with 6-8 sprays of the Dew, then apply 3-4 circles of the Nectar to a cotton pad and buff your skin using both sides of the cotton pad, first the more oily side, then the more watery side. If you do not have our cleansing duo, take a warm, damp washcloth and gently massage skin clean.

How long will I experience breakouts while using the Clear Skin Elixir?

Everyone’s skin is different and experiences the adjustment stage at different rates. The French Pink Clay in the elixir actively pulls out bacteria, toxins, impurities and sebum from deep within the pores at a faster rate. This process can take 4-6 weeks or more.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

I wear this mask every night if I have breakouts or as spot treatment. It is so calming to irritated and red skin, it relieves some of the pain by the next morning and sometimes the breakouts are healed overnight. It even helps soothe sunburn just make sure you moisturize bc it can be drying if your skin is already dry.
