I have been managing cystic acne for months and was looking for something before going back on spironolactone. Only two weeks in, I can say I've noticed a significant difference. I waited to submit a review because results were not instant. However, I decided to give the product more time (as recommended) and I am now over four months into this routine with very noticeable results. I struggled specifically with acne on my chin and often cystic. One area in particular I couldn’t seem to get clear. Now, it has cleared up and if I do get a pimple it is not as deep and clears up much faster. My skin also feels healthy and hydrated. Very glad!

I started using this Averr Aglow kit back in 2019. My skin was in so much pain from all of the acne I was suffering with. Nothing would help. Anything I tried had left my skin dry/tight and caused even more pain on top of the acne. Then I found Averr Aglow. This stuff has been the holy grail for my acne. It cleared my skin up (of course remember it gets worse before it gets better) and it really gave my poor abused skin the nutrients it needed! Oh my freaking gosh I just have to say thank GOODNESS I finally found something that works!! I have been waiting to write this review to show the complete results. I am just like everyone else on here. I was skeptical of buying from an instagram ad, but of course I was desperate and thinking "what do I have to lose??” For a year at age 24, I started struggling with acne all around my chin like I was going through a second puberty or something!! I tried spiro, tretinoin, clindamycin, doxy, benzoyl peroxide, tea tree oil, everything my dermatologist suggested and all of it failed! (Birth control used to keep my acne in check, and then it stopped!) It got to the point where the Dr. started mentioning chemical peels and accutane that I knew I had to look elsewhere! Don’t get me wrong, maybe a dermatologist works for some people, but I have found no matter what skin issue I have going on, they glance at it and immediately prescribe something harsh that never works! I spent months and months hating my complexion, ever hopefully looking in the mirror every morning and depressed at what I saw back. Well, desperate, I ordered the clear skin kit from AA after continuously getting ads for it (props to you AA) and I kid you not, I saw results in the first week. Of course nothing too crazy, but I could tell my skin was calming and starting to heal. By week 2 and 3 it was even better. After the first month I was like heck yeah this is working. I was going for at least doable and passable under makeup (for months I was covering my whole face in so much makeup to try and hide the acne. Of course, you could still always see the texture through it). Now, I felt halfway decent about myself!
I think it's the step 1 and 2 that really went to work on my skin. Some people say it took time to get used to the fact that you have to clean your face without water, but I love it! I love not having to wash my face the traditional way every night (I tried double cleansing to no avail) and using a face towel. All it takes is a cotton round and I am all cleansed and it feels good. Not to mention, step 2 takes off waterproof mascara like nothing else I have EVER tried. The mask at night is so wonderful and light. I think that helped a lot too! I love that it is working on my skin while I sleep. And the fact that all of the products are natural and safe ingredients?? Like I don’t have to worry about going off of it while pregnant or on bc or anything! I know this is long, but I really wanted to write my whole experience. I started it at the end of May 2024 and have been on it almost 4 months now. I feel like I’m back to my beautiful self, that I got to have the hot girl summer I wanted (foundation free!!), and that I can finally walk around feeling confident again. I am hesitant to go off of it because I am not sure if my bad skin can come back, but sometimes I don’t feel that I need the whole routine twice a day now!
The amount of brain space worrying about my acne took up this last year was depressing, and I am just glad this skin kit magically solved it all for me, so thank you Averr Aglow!! Also if you're worried about the price, don’t be. Quality products cost money, that’s how it should be and how it is. This ain’t your grocery store’s generic skin kit. Not to mention AA offers so many rewards and points towards purchases. I will always pay this amount if it means I can feel this amazing about myself. Bottom line: Just buy it. Try it. I have been waiting months to write this review to make sure the products really work and I'm here to tell you, THEY DO!

When I turned 24, it was like I went through second puberty. I got moderate acne on my chin again and nothing seemed to work. I have tried EVERYTHING except accutane. I originally went on birth control when I was younger to help with acne and it worked but now no longer seems to work at all. I tried spironolactone, which made my skin so much worse. I tried doxycycline which did absolutely nothing. Ive been on tretinoin, retinols, clindamycine, benzolperoxide, tea tree oil etc. I wasted SO much money at the dermatologist. My self esteem was low, I didn't want to leave the house or see friends because of my skin. I hated having to put makeup on to go out in public, which only made it worse. Then I started getting so many ads on instagram for acne products and was always so skeptical. I came across Averr Aglow and I read all the reviews which were amazing, but it seemed too good to be true, but I was desperate.

After having horrible acne for a whole year, trying product after product with zero results I tried Averr Aglow's Clear Skin Kit. And after just ONE WEEK I noticed improvement in my skin. It only got better, I was hardly breaking out anymore, but I still had so much hyperpigmentation and scarring and bumps. My acne used to get worse on my period but I've noticed, I maybe get one tiny zit while on my period now and I don't even care because I know it used to be so inflamed. I loved the way the Clear Skin Kit feels on my skin, it's hydrating and moisturizing and I love not having to wash my face with water. I woke up every morning excited to see my skin and how much it improved over night.

Unfortunately I'm left with some scarring from all the torture I put my skin through, so I purchased the Scar and Pockmark Repair Serum and have been using it for a couple of weeks. I hope it continues to get rid of my scars, I'm optimistic.

4 month update! I started Averr Aglow products March 2024 and here is how my skin is doing 4 months in. Very very happy with the results! My skin continues to stay clear.
