The Power of Skincare Boosters Averr Aglow

The Power of Skincare Boosters

What Are Skincare Booster Serums?

Skincare booster serums are a highly concentrated selection of single, crucial ingredients designed to treat specific concerns and supercharge your skincare routine, creating just the right concoction for your specific skincare needs at any particular moment. Dry? Give it some moisture. Dull? Give it some Vitamin C. Need some help with environmental toxins? Give it a skin barrier boost. We’ll explain more below about which boosters are enhanced with which of these ingredients.

Individually:

Boosters are highly concentrated, and because you only need one or two drops, the bottle can last a long time. Light in texture but substantial in the effect they have on your skin, they are created to reach your goals more quickly around certain concerns. What are some of those goals?

  • Increasing hydration
  • Brightening and toning the skin
  • Reducing wrinkles
  • Soothing irritated skin

Combined With Other Products:

Skincare boosters help prime and stabilize the skin’s barrier, keeping you hydrated, and even more amazing, augmenting your other products to work more effectively, which ultimately makes your healthy glow even more radiant.

What Are The Benefits Of Using A Booster Serum?

DIY Skincare: You can easily create your DIY skincare products, customize your routine, and transform your favorite moisturizer into a super powerful anti-aging or anti-blemishes weapon.

The Strength is Yours! You get to choose the level of intensity of the treatment every time you use it! The more drops you use, the more powerful it is. (Of course, just like everything, we recommend you use frequently as part of your regimen, but not excessively)

An extra helping hand: Thanks to their high concentration of active ingredients, Boosters will help you target and help you correct any new skin woe faster than just using other skincare products alone.

How Do You Use A Skincare Booster Serum?

If you’ve decided to use a Booster, here’s what you need to know to work it into your skincare routine:

You can use a booster alone or mix it with your favorite serum or moisturizer (just never with sunscreen – you’ll just dilute the SPF! More about that below).

If you want to mix it with your moisturizer or serum, add one to two drops of the booster to your hand, add serum or moisturizer, and then apply it to your face.

The sooner you apply the Booster, the better. For best results, pat it on after your exfoliant or toner, but always before moisturizer and/ or serum

Most Boosters can be used both morning and night.

Introducing Our Three New Booster Serums

1. Ceramide NP 1% Booster

This magical peptide serum - the best in skincare - restores moisture, strengthens, and protects, transforming your skin from dull into dewy, rough into radiant, pabulum into plump, and sapless into smooth and supple.

Ceramide NP 1% Booster

What is the 1% referring to? That’s the amount of concentration of Ceramide NP serum!

What are Ceramides and Their Benefits?

Ceramides in Skincare:

  • Restore moisture
  • Help to replenish the natural lipids (healthy fatty acids) in the skin
  • Reinforce the skin’s natural barrier
  • Help to protect us from the harsh elements

Help us to combat acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, and more, when there are high levels. Low levels can cause the aforementioned issues, so let’s applaud that high ceramide level in our Boosters!

2. Phyto Ceramide .4% Booster

This powerhouse helps encourage collagen production and can reverse signs of aging. It also diminishes the appearance of wrinkles, blurs pores, and strengthens the skin barrier.

Phyto Ceramide .4% Booster

What is the .4% referring to? That’s the concentration amount of phytosphingosine.

Phytosphingosine is a “good” fat and natural moisturizer that’s naturally found in the outermost layer of the skin and can have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects. The skin barrier is crucial for ensuring your skin looks and feels good—think of it as the ultimate line of defense against all the dirt, pollution, grime, and other toxins that your skin is constantly bombarded with. It also improves the skin's ability to stay hydrated, firm and intact!

3. Super Peptide .34% Booster

This skin repair magician stimulates the reconstruction of the skin, helping with pockmarks and scarring. It also reduces acne, resulting in smooth, flawless skin.

Super Peptide .34% Booster

What is the .34% referring to? That’s the concentration amount of palmitoyl pentapeptide-4.

Palmitoyl pentapeptide-4 is a matriline (an extracellular matrix-derived peptide that regulates cell activity) used in anti-wrinkle cosmetics.

How Do I Use These Booster Serums?

Use twice daily in the morning and night, right after cleansing skin, and before applying moisturizer and SPF.

Step 1: Apply a few drops to the face and gently massage into the skin.

Step 2: Wait 1-2 minutes for a booster to absorb, then apply moisturizer or serum.

For a powerful skincare cocktail: Add 1-2 drops to your cream, mix, and swirl to activate.

Another option: add 1-2 drops of the booster to your moisturizer or serum before application to the face.

What Makes Averr Aglow Booster Serums So Special?

How Do I Use These Boosters

Our Boosters:

  • Penetrate deeply and create harmony
  • Formulated and specifically designed to create harmony between all of the different layers of your skin, for maximum efficiency
  • Packed with natural actives, yet a clean streamlined ingredient list that penetrates.
  • Each is formulated to laser in on and target very specific skincare concerns while working synergistically together. Perfect for use with any skincare line, but we hope you are using Averr Aglow!

Our Boosters can be customized:

  • For your DIY and customized at-home treatments
  • Either alone or added to any other cosmetic product you are already using
  • By mixing with other boosters to shorten regimens and skincare routine
  • As the needs of your skin change over time
  • To keep the skincare routine you love while adjusting for your skin's needs.
  • To work with other products in your routine to help increase results, especially for harder-to-solve issues, like:
  • Age spots
  • Large pores
  • Deep Wrinkles

Our Boosters are even more powerful when multiplied! How?

  • You have even more options with the three boosters and can choose the ingredient(s) that your skin specifically needs at that particular time
  • More special treatment = maximum efficacy!
  • Their ingredients are potent, delivered deep into the skin, giving better and faster results
  • More confidence, more glow
Our Boosters are even more powerful when multiplied

Think of the skin barrier as a brick wall—the cells are the bricks, and the phytosphingosine (and ceramides) make up the mortar in between. Lose that mortar and the brick wall is going to have trouble staying intact.

More Booster Serum Q&A:

Are Averr Aglow boosters good for sensitive skin?

Yes, even if you have sensitive or rosacea-prone skin. Our gentle formulas contain soothing and replenishing ingredients that calm and counteract irritation.

Is the effectiveness of the boosters reduced if I mix it with other products?

No, this formula was designed to complement the ingredients in our serums, and moisturizers.

Is it OK to mix the boosters with my sunscreen?

No, you should never mix any skin care product into sunscreen— it dilutes its powers and efficacy. Instead, apply the Peptide Booster on its own or mix it with your favorite serum, or moisturizer, then finish with your SPF. In any daytime routine, sunscreen rated 30+ should always be the last product you apply.

Can I use the boosters around my eyes?

Yes! Start with adding a drop to your eye cream, mix it in your hand, then apply to the skin around your eye being mindful to avoid your lash line.

Which peptides are best for the skin?

There is no single best peptide in skincare. Instead, the most effective approach is to use a robust mix of peptides, as each offers its unique mechanism of action to target specific skin concerns. When used together, they revive skin in ways that a single peptide can’t.

Can peptides be layered?

Yes, peptides can be layered. Each peptide targets different aspects of restoring skin, so the more the merrier! Just allow a few minutes between layers to allow for absorption.

Can I use it if I have acne-prone, oily skin?

Yes, is suitable for oily, acne-prone skin. Its sheer, water-based texture and non-greasy finish shouldn’t make breakouts worse or pose a risk of clogging pores.
